This Adjustment Service Authorization applies when a customer requests a fit adjustment or related post-purchase service from Nuvooeyes for previously worn eyewear.

01. Scope of Service

Nuvooeyes may offer post-purchase adjustment services, including minor fit adjustments, handling of previously worn frames, and related support services.

Adjustment services may be offered through:

  • an at-home adjustment kit with guidance, or
  • an in-house adjustment service performed by Nuvooeyes.

02. Condition of Previously Worn Frames

If you submit a previously worn frame for adjustment, you understand that used eyewear may already have wear, hidden stress, weakened structural points, surface peeling, material fatigue, or other conditions that increase the risk of damage during handling or adjustment.

03. Acknowledgment of Risk

You understand and accept that adjustment work on a previously worn frame carries inherent risk. During the adjustment process, a frame may:

Crack
Lose finish
Break
Shift structurally
Peel
Become unsuitable for continued use
Weaken

04. Authorization to Proceed

By requesting this service and signing the authorization form below, you authorize Nuvooeyes to proceed with the requested adjustment service despite the risks described in this document.

Nuvooeyes may decline to perform the service if the frame appears too fragile, compromised, or unsuitable for adjustment.

05. Limitation of Responsibility

Because this service is performed on a previously worn frame, Nuvooeyes cannot assume responsibility for breakage, peeling, cracking, weakening, finish loss, or other damage that may occur during the adjustment process.

You understand that Nuvooeyes is not guaranteeing that the frame can be safely adjusted, preserved in its current condition, or restored without risk.

06. No Guarantee of Outcome

Nuvooeyes will use professional care, judgment, and appropriate equipment in performing the requested service. However, results may vary depending on the age, material, condition, and prior handling of the frame.

Nuvooeyes does not guarantee that:

  • the adjustment will fully resolve the issue,
  • the frame will remain unchanged in appearance,
  • the frame will not sustain damage during the process, or
  • the frame will be suitable for continued wear after service.

07. Separate From Warranty Coverage

Adjustment services are separate from any product warranty and do not create, extend, or replace any warranty coverage.

08. Service Fee and Timing

Adjustment services are currently offered for $30, unless otherwise stated.

Adjustment services typically take approximately 1 week, not including shipping time. Timing may vary depending on frame condition, shipping, and service volume.

  • My frame has been previously used and may already have wear, hidden stress, weakness, or surface damage.
  • Adjustment work may cause the frame to crack, break, peel, weaken, lose finish, or become unsuitable for continued use.
  • Nuvooeyes will use professional care and appropriate equipment, but cannot assume responsibility for damage that may occur during the process.
  • Adjustment services are separate from warranty coverage.
  • The service fee is $30, and the service may take approximately 1 week (excluding shipping time).
